Welcome to New Light Redesign. My name is Linda Holt and I am the designer behind New Light Redesign. Like most people, I assumed hiring an interior designer was only for the wealthy. New Light Redesign was founded with the goal of helping everyone have a beautiful and joyful space that reflects the owners personality and honors their existing belongings. Redesign is about reusing, re-purposing, and recycling what you already own and love. I have a passion for color and believe color is the key that transforms a room and ties everything together.

Before opening New Light Redesign in 2008, I spent 25 years as a professional photographer with my own studio in Boston. My specialty was head shots and portfolios and I loved the challenge of helping people look their very best. The fact is, most of us don’t look like a super model and most of us don’t have an unlimited decorating budget. What I loved about head shots is the same thing I love about Interior Redesign and Staging. I love the challenge of working with what I am given.

I am certified in both Redesign and Home Staging through IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialist) and ADE (Association of Design Education). I am a member of the Interior Design Society (IDS), a certified Dewey* Color Specialist and have earned my True Color Expert Certification through internationally acclaimed colorist, Maria Killam.
