HOME STAGING

Are you thinking of Downsizing?

Do you want to appeal to the majority of potential buyers?

Do you want to sell in 1/3 of the time and get close to your asking price?

Are you motivated to sell and ready for an honest opinion of what needs to be done in order to prepare your home for the market?

How we live in our home and how we sell our home are two very different things. Home Staging is simply “packaging” your home so that it will appeal to more buyers and ultimately get you the high offers you want. We know you love your home and that your heart and soul have gone into decorating it. It therefore can be hard to hear that your prized tea cup collection must be packed away, your family photos must go and your bright orange walls that so energizes you may not be to everyones liking.

At New Light Redesign we have been trained to look at your home with critical “buyer’s eyes”. Todays buyers are very choosey and it is our goal to help you accentuate your homes positives, while down playing any negatives. We want buyers to fall in love with your home the moment they walk in the door and home staging is the best way to reveal your home’s “wow” factor.

* New Light Redesign provides on-line and phone consults for clients outside the Boston /North area.

Testimonials

Linda is a breath of fresh air: fun, funny and creative and delivers her staging recommendations in such a soft and professional manner. I am so confident referring my clients to her and very lucky to have her as part of my real estate team. If a client follows all or most of Linda’s staging advice, my houses show better, sell faster and sell for more money.

ReMax on the River, Newburyport

In 2010, one of the worst years in real estate, Linda opened our eyes to the power of home staging. Our original agent gave us a list of improvements to make in our home and after 8 months on the market we felt we needed a change. Our new listing agent brought Linda in early on in the process and I feel it was one of the best pieces of advice we got. After we followed Linda’s advice we had 3 serious offers within two weeks of relisting the home. I wouldn’t dare try and sell a house again without enlisting Linda’s services. More realtors should be working with a home stager like Linda-it just makes sense.
